About me?…

Well what is there to know? Born from ancestors of Trinidad, raised in the electrifying streets of Brooklyn, New York. I have the pleasure of living out my dreams each day through one of my four passions: service, educating our youth, cooking and travelling. And now I’m on the road to my biggest adventure thus far, I’m on a quest to visit 30 countries by age 30! #TheRaceIsOn My mother always told me “You were blessed from my womb!” So it was written, that shall it be.

Greetings Kings and Queens, My name is Carlotta, known to some as Carl, Co, CoCo Lotta, Carlii, Popito, just to name a few…. let’s just say my loved ones can get pretty creative! I’m a simple Jane from the Big Apple trying to live life to my fullest capacity! Growing up I faced many hardships but my faith in God, encouragement from loved ones and self-perseverance has helped me accomplish things I couldn’t even imagine happening to little ole me. Throughout my journey of “Chasing Carlii” I have encountered soooo many influential and empowered individuals who have impacted my life from near and far. I often ask myself “how am I so blessed to have relationships and be connected to these wonderful people?” I still haven’t figured out the answer, but in the mean time I will celebrate them and let others see their beauty.

In society there are so many people chasing their dreams, pursing passions, taking risk and re-defining what it means to truly “LIVE”. However, we also dwell in a world where unfortunately negativity is streamed more than the positive. People are often stifled, discouraged and pushed away before living out their fullest potential.

“Chasing Carlii & Friends” is a platform used to celebrate, highlight and encourage those uplifting our communities, locally and beyond. 

The goal of this site is to create a realm where like-minded individuals can  interact without the woes and dramas of society. With its #PositiveVibesOnly ambiance,  this is a safe space where people can come to be uplifted.
