Meet Jazzy…

I had the pleasure of meeting one of my Soul-mates my first year of Graduate school, her name was Ms. J. Gray.

Jazmine Gray, aka Jazzy, age 28,  is the CEO of  ‘JazTrippin’ and one of the most kindhearted individuals you will EVER meet! With her three passions of educating, writing and TRAVELING, she continues to chase her dreams daily. Born and raised in New York City and a woman chasing after my own heart, Jazzio is the definition of a #BOSS!

By day Jazzy spends her time as a SUPER hero (a.k.a #Teacher) in the community of BedStuy, Brooklyn, where she spends her time teaching young adolescent scholars the importance of literature and connecting to society. After receiving her Bachelors degree from Rutgers University, Jazmine sought a new journey where she could utilize her knowledge in Journalism and Media Studies while also helping others. This lead her to St. John’s University where she pursued a Masters degree in English Adolescent Education, where she eventually met her soulmate (me). Since meeting, Jazzy and I have been to several countries, concerts and adventures. She IS the definition of a true friend.

 

By night and in her spare time, Jazmine spends her time as a CEO and AVID World Traveler! #Goals Whether it’s cramming at wee hours in the morning on Christmas or going through planes, trains, boats and automobiles, Jazmine and her partner go through extremes to snag a great travel deal.  “It’s our little secret that the Travel Gods love us. We live for the rapid heart beats and delayed breathing that comes with booking a fantastically-priced flight.”

When asked about her passions and describe who she is, Jazmine says:  “I currently teach English where I inspire my students to go out and see the world. I am the go-to person for all of my friends, co-workers and acquaintances for all travel needs and am always eager to tell a tale of affordable travel and how everyone should do it. You can find me either surrounded by my students or on a vacation. To me, both feel like where I belong!“

What is JazTrippin? “Simply put, we’re two twenty-somethings who were bitten by the wanderlust bug and never looked back!  We’re two regular girls with regular jobs (teacher and social services employee) and found a way to make travel work for us. I decided to combine my previous love of writing with my love of traveling to give them somewhere where they can find all the answers or allow me to book trips for them.” 

 What So what’s next Ms. Gray?: “My ultimate goal is to make it to 30 countries by the age of 30 and I’m already half way there along with the help of a consistent travel buddy who happens to be my college roomie!”
